Speaker 1:

Welcome back to another episode of the Hot Genius Guide to Manifesting. I'm your host, christina Modafari. I hope you're loving the new branding. I have been waiting since I launched this podcast nine or ten months ago for the perfect name. Okay, and I, finally we did it, guys. We did it. The Hot Genius Guide to Manifesting. It's the one, if you know, you know, do you know what I mean? It's like that, so I'm so happy right now. So today is a lot of firsts. So it's the first episode where we officially rebranded into what feels, honestly, just perfect.

Speaker 1:

And the next thing is that I don't usually record this on video. I usually just keep my audio going right, but I'm currently recording this on video and I'm most likely going to upload it on YouTube, okay, so, hi, if you're watching this on YouTube or video format whatever, I'm just feeling a little bit like Ooh, camera shy. I'm just not. I'm just not used to it. It's like a whole different vibe, right, when I'm usually recording the audio, I get into my bubble and obviously there's not a bright light in my face and there's just less to do. So I'm challenging myself, because it was my goal for a very long time to actually start uploading the video version and putting it on YouTube.

Speaker 1:

And so here we are, we're doing it, we're doing it, and today's episode is called your Current Life is Just as Worthy as your Dream One. So this episode is really close to my heart. Obviously, all the episodes are, but this one has that extra little bit of heartstrings, and I'm going to tell you a story, I'm going to really sell you on this and I'm going to explain to you why this is actually, in itself, a manifestation method. Okay, so let's just begin, let's get right into it. Okay, so your current life is just as worthy as your dream one. Let's really listen to that. Let's really understand what this means. Okay, Now, it doesn't matter where you're at on your journey right now. Okay, the listeners of this show, the Hot Genius Gang all right, we come from all walks of life. It's just the way it is. We all come and are at different parts of our journey. Some of us are pretty happy with where we're at, but some of us we're not, and neither is better than the other, and this is my point.

Speaker 1:

My point is is that when your life isn't exactly where you want it to be, it's really, really easy to misperceive the magic of life and to misperceive, I guess, the value of your life, because we end up putting our dream life on a pedestal and thinking that that is much more worthy than your current one. Because let's use an example. Let's say right now you're in a relationship that you don't like, you don't make the amount of money that you want to make and you're very unhappy with your social life. Let's just say roughly, that is someone's or yours current life circumstances. And let's say your dream life is to be in a really healthy and happy, amazing relationship it's for you to have. Let's say you want to be a millionaire, and then let's let's also add in that you want to be a published author. Okay, that's your dream life and you know we already spoke about your current one. It's very easy, right, to logically believe that when you are a millionaire, when you have a better relationship, when you are a published author, it's very easy to believe that that's worth more, that it is more worthy than your current life. Because your current life, you know, you don't make as much money, you're not really happy in your relationship, you know, and whatever else, you're not a published author, author. It's very easy to feel this, this disconnection, where, again, that's what I mean when I say it's very easy for us to get into a trap of putting the future or a fantasy in on a pedestal, okay, and when we do that, we are doing the anti-manifestation. What this does is you are in resistance to what you want and you're actually manifesting unconsciously more of what you currently don't want. Really hear that. That's why I said that your current life is just as worthy as a dream one.

Speaker 1:

The topic and title of today's episode is not just a philosophy, it's quite literally a method, and don't worry, I will explain how and why. But I wanted to just first begin by introducing that to you, this concept to you, because I just gave you an example of someone who's unhappy and now I'm also going to give the example to someone who's pretty happy, like, pretty successful, and is hungry, really ambitious, right, because it still applies, it doesn't? It applies to every situation. And so let's say you're really successful, you actually fuck it. Let's say you are a published author. Let's say you are a millionaire, and let's also say you have a dream relationship. Let's go there. Let's actually say that you're someone else's dream life. Okay, your current life is someone else's fantasy. Okay, let's just go there and I'll still apply this and I'll still show you how important this is when you if that's your current life, I'm going to guess let's do it just for the sake of this episode.

Speaker 1:

Let's imagine that you, as a millionaire who's a published author, who has the best relationship. Let's say you're currently dreaming up a life where you are, instead of being like a millionaire, you want to be like multi-millionaire. And let's say, instead of being a published author, you actually want to write a movie and have that be on the screen. And let's say that you want to be married and you want to have children. All right, let's say, your current life of you being a millionaire is just as worthy of your future life or your dream life, or being a multi-millionaire. It's the same thing.

Speaker 1:

And I I use these examples on purpose because, again to the brain, if I would ask almost anyone, okay, the question, and if they were honest in their response, if I were to ask them hi, is someone who has the most worthy life? The person who is a multi-millionaire, who is a published author and has a movie, has written and created, produced a movie, is that person? So that's number one. Is that person more worthy than the person who is a millionaire, who's just a published author? Or who's more worthy? Or is the person who makes $50,000 a year and is in a really miserable relationship? Out of those three options, which one is the most worthy life? The average person would respond most likely with the first or second. They'll say oh yeah, obviously, that's easy. The multimillionaire, the multimillionaire, obviously. And they've written a book, they're married, they've got a family, they have more. So obviously that's the more worthy person or life or whatever.

Speaker 1:

And that's not true, because most people don't realize that's actually a trick question, because they are all worthy and the reason why the brain will naturally navigate towards the one with the most level of measurable, quantifiable success is because people we listen to this people confuse monetary value with existential worthiness. Really, let that sink in your brain does a trick. It can only measure things that it can quantify, that it can put a number on. Okay. And the two main things the brain does this with is the two obvious things that it can quantify, that it can put a number on. Okay. And the two main things the brain does this with is the two obvious things that we quantify every single day money and time Right.

Speaker 1:

So when the more that someone has accumulated and has accomplished, the brain misperceives, misjudges, that that life is better than someone who has very little? Circumstantially, this is the problem. This is the problem. So how does this have anything to do with it being a method, though? And how is it that? By not by not understanding that your current life is as worthy as your future one? How is this all affected? Let's all connect. Let's connect the dots right now. Okay, and it's that.

Speaker 1:

Your current life might not, literally, you might not have the same amount of monetary value as your dream life, but think about what really counts, because that is available to anyone and everyone, regardless of life circumstances. Let me explain the present moment happiness levels, confidence, self-love, oxygen levels these things, they are all available equally, regardless of how much money you make and how much success that you have. And if you remove everything and you were to ask someone, ask anyone, find someone for me who has everything they ever wanted materially, ask them if, once the high wears off after two weeks, do they really feel fundamentally different to when they didn't have anything? And every single person will give you some sort of a variation of an answer, saying, to be honest, I feel the same on the inside and if I do feel better, it's literally because I've done the work to just be someone who is fulfilled. That's what that will tell you A lot of people like. I'll give you an example.

Speaker 1:

I actually once heard an interview like I just, yeah, I heard an interview with Alex Hermosy and I don't know. He was asked a question or something and then he said his answer went, went like this he says something like he would love to go back to when he wasn't successful, when he wasn't a millionaire, and to actually just like enjoy it Like he would love to be his younger self. He had to go through all the grind and hustle and get his success to learn that, essentially, he learned the very, very hard and long way that his life prior to being a millionaire and prior to being a multimillionaire and prior to being incredibly successful in his business. It took him a really long time to realize that, yeah, he has all this success now, but when he was younger he missed out on the magic that what his past self had. He realized essentially, like I said, that his current life at the time or his past life now was so worthy, it was equally worthy. He started to equate different things, like well, he was younger, you know, like youth, oh my God, youth, youth.

Speaker 1:

You can't buy youth, although actually it's a whole nother topic, but you know what I mean. For the most part, you can't buy youth. You can't go back in the past and actually enjoy the present moment or connect with people who are still around. I guess what I'm trying to tell you, and what I'm trying to bring to your awareness, is that there are many different ways that you can measure value and worth and that if you're too fixated on the things that are external to you, such as money and whatever else and an accomplishment or something tangible, you're going to miss out on so much. You're going to miss out on this present moment. Because let me let you in on a little secret Do you know what everyone truly wants? Do you want to know? All right, I'll tell you, and it's that we want to be present A little bit anticlimactic, but if you actually receive what I just said, it'll be very climatic, right, because it is the present moment. It's the present moment.

Speaker 1:

People who hustle and grind and grind, blah, blah, blah. They actually, if they're not present, people they missed out on the whole experience of it. And that's equivalent of literally becoming someone who needs to finish the burger, not realizing that the best part of eating a burger is, quite literally, the process of eating it. Do you get that? If you don't understand that your current life is as worthy as whatever wild dream life that you imagine for yourself, then it is like you saying that the best part of eating a burger, or eating whatever it is that you desire and enjoy, is finishing the burger, or finishing that meal. What, finishing that meal, what? No, we can all agree that the best part of eating your favorite meal or burger is, quite literally, just eating it. It is the experience of eating it. And that's what I mean that your current life is just as worthy as a dream one. And if you can't see that, you are stuck in an illusion. And so that brings me to the next part.

Speaker 1:

When you can fully receive now, you actually enter receiving mode for your dream life. I'm going to say that again when you fully can receive your current life right now, you automatically enter your dream life. This is where you enter the receiving mode of your dream life. This is where you enter the receiving mode of your manifestation, and that is the reason why I opened up this episode by saying this is actually a method. Do you see what I mean? Now? It's a method, and you also see now when I say that, and you also see now when I say that manifestation is not a means to an end if I didn't say that already, probably didn't but manifestation is not a means to an end.

Speaker 1:

The same way, eating a burger is not just about finishing it. The best part of it is is tasting it, is eating it and enjoying every single bite. They're all equally worthy. And and so you might be thinking, okay, christina, but like, what about the people who do achieve all these big dreams? Like they become a multi-millionaire, like whatever else? Um, and they didn't receive the present moment. So, like, how did they get everything they wanted? And so that what I have to say is that, well, they might have gotten everything they wanted, but they didn't get the process of what they wanted. In other words, they might have gotten the burger finished, but they never got to taste it. Really, let that land Do you get me? That's the difference, and it is like it's become a cliche right about now of like the amount of famous people, successful people, millionaires, billionaires, whatever who constantly preach the same theme of fuck.

Speaker 1:

I just wish I took the time to enjoy myself. I wish I made it easier on myself. I wish I wasn't hustling. I wish I found a different way. I wish that I could learn sooner rather than later that it wasn't going to give me what I truly was seeking wholeness, fulfillment, happiness. That I can't believe. I didn't realize that, even when I was seeking wholeness, fulfillment, happiness that I can't believe, I didn't realize that even when I was working out of a garage, I was so blinded by the magic that was already existing in my current life. And this does not matter where you are at on your journey.

Speaker 1:

This method and this philosophy, this mindset, is foolproof for anyone and everyone, because everything is happening now and every time you don't receive your current life and you judge your current life, you are blocking yourself from enjoying the taste of your life. You are that person who's constantly waiting for the burger to be eaten and forgetting to realize that they are currently eating and you're not enjoying it. And so, manifestation why I love it, why I base my entire life on it, is because, at the end of the day. We can't turn it off. We've always been manifesting. The difference is is that most people manifest unconsciously, so if it's always on, if it's always happening, why not use it to your advantage? Why not learn how to drive the car of our life Right? And in saying that, when we actually learn, learn the true.

Speaker 1:

The true point behind becoming someone who is a conscious manifester is to really just get the point and to understand that it's not about your desires, it's not about getting the things. They are just, they are just extras, they're just bonuses that the real gift is simply the experience of of you're now. You're really just creating your, your life best. I'm getting choked up in my words. This is so much right, but like you're really, you really care about being someone who can enjoy every bite of their life. You do not trust me. No one on this planet wants to be someone who just enjoys the end of their burger eating. You do not want to be someone who just enjoys the five minutes of fame, the five minutes of the dopamine high that you get. When you get something really awesome, no, life does not happen. Then Life happens in between that, and so when you do receive the things that you want. They mean more to you anyway, when you also enjoy the process of getting them.

Speaker 1:

And I'm telling you right now, when you can start to focus more on caring about right now, caring more about creating a good process in your life, whatever that is for you, that's building a business. If that's finding your dream partner, doesn't really matter what it is. Stop trying to control and focus so much on how to get the dream partner or how to get that money or how to get that success in your business. Start focusing on how can you make the process of getting your dream partner fun and amazing. How can you make the process of building your business so fun and rewarding? That's your focus, that's what you need to focus on. And by accident, as a natural consequence because it is law, law as you are enjoying that process, you are obviously going to be receiving the gifts of the present moment, which, remember, is what we truly desire. Then you naturally become someone who gets what they want as a byproduct of that.

Speaker 1:

So now I can tell you the story that I said. I would tell you that this is why this episode topic is so close to my heart, because personally, I spent my entire life putting not just my future life on a pedestal, absolutely everyone's future life. I had paralyzing FOMO as well, which is added to the mix. I used to think that my current life at the time, for example, if you know my story, I came from poverty I had really messed up mental health issues, just every problem you can ever think of right Like that was me and I would imagine like, for example, when I was 18, my current life, who I am today. I was 18, my current life, who I am today. I am my 18 year old self's dream life and dream person. Okay, and I would put what I have right now on a pedestal. You know what happened when I became the dream life of my past self? I actually didn't realize for a very long time that I was living a dream life. I didn't know, I had no clue. I had no clue to the point.

Speaker 1:

This is why I say if you don't apply this, this will become an anti-manifestation method. This will block everything you truly desire. You will just create more of what you don't want, because how on earth can you truly get what you want if you can't even fucking recognize it when you have it? And the way to solve that is, to understand the truth of of of human existence. That the real lesson. Every spiritual book you think of, the lesson of every good movie, is always the same it's right this moment.

Speaker 1:

What I've been telling you is that we want to care about the present moment. It's really just understanding. It's always good enough. It's always good enough. Now is good enough. What you have in your life right now is good enough.

Speaker 1:

The version of me in poverty with mental health problems, that was good enough. Now is good enough. What you have in your life right now is good enough. The version of me in poverty, with mental health problems, that was good enough. That was as worthy as what I have today.

Speaker 1:

And I learned the hard way. This is a lifelong lesson, but I'm lucky Guys, I'm only 28. But I'm lucky Guys, I'm only 28. It's pretty young and early to learn a very deep life lesson. So I don't care how old you are. I don't care if you're 97. It's never too late to learn this lesson, but for whatever reason that you are younger than that, please understand that the best time to have learnt this was yesterday and the second best time to understand this is right now.

Speaker 1:

Right now, and remember when you can truly, fully, fully fully receive your current life. You're naturally not just going to get your dream life faster, you're going to enjoy the process of it, which is what you truly want, because, once again, goal achieving or manifestation is not a means to an end. It is a way of being. It's becoming someone who enjoys their every part of their life and they're not just chasing for their burger to be eaten. What the fuck is, what the point is, is that, like what? Imagine that you just finished eating a burger and you lost your memory of actually eating it. What was the point, guys? Because that's what this is about, that's people in real time, constantly. That's what they're going through, and the story that I was trying to say that I keep forgetting to tell you, is that today, specifically as well, it really landed with me.

Speaker 1:

I came to this breakthrough a while ago, but it was still sort of simmering for a while until today. Every few, every couple of few years, I returned back to my old neighborhood where I first dreamed up my dream life of where I wanted to be in 10 years, which is who I am today. Life of where I wanted to be in 10 years, which is who I am today, and usually I would go and I'd feel okay. But I'd usually be triggered because a lot of fucked up things happened. So that's natural for you to be triggered. Like it wasn't so dramatic, it got. It became easier over time. But something different happened today.

Speaker 1:

I went there cause I go there with intention. I go there to measure where I'm at, because the best way to measure where you're at is to be brave enough to confront where you're at. And the way you confront where you're at and measure it is to go to the things that once deeply triggered you and to see, engage, how you feel and respond towards that trigger. For me, I told you in the past it would be less triggering every time, but I still felt very attached to it, like it was still me. Just time went past, sort of vibe, whereas today I felt like nothing but peace. I wasn't triggered at all. In fact I had the total opposite of that. I had glimmers. If you don't know what a glimmer is, it's like a positive trigger. So instead of feeling anxious or shitty or pissed off, you feel you have happy memories, you feel amazing, you feel joy, you feel love, you feel positive. I don't like the word positive, that's very inaccurate but you feel more lighter, more enjoyable emotions, and that's what happened to me today.

Speaker 1:

And it also felt like when I was looking around, I looked at my old house that I grew up in, I looked at my neighborhood, went to the park that I went to when I literally was dreaming up my dream life in my mind, where I was reprogramming my mind, where I was quite literally running for my life because I would jog, you know, and I'd listen to subconscious reprogramming, I would learn things at manifestation, all the things you know I, I went there and I looked at it and I'm like it felt like what it would feel like if you could just remember a past memory, like it was a version of you, but it's like so out of this world. That's what it felt like, but in the healthiest way, of course. And that's when it fully landed for me, where I I'm like, oh my god, like I'm looking at everything that happened and I don't even label the things that most people would believe or consider as bad. I didn't even see it as bad, I just saw it as it's so crazy, like something really messed up. I didn't see it as messed up, I saw it as I'm trying to find the word like it was just so beautiful. You know, when you watch a movie and it really moves you, like it changes you at your core, that's what it felt like. That's what it felt like and I realized that, for the first time ever, I am no longer whatsoever the person who was on that bench manifesting me. I've quantum leaped. I'm a success.

Speaker 1:

And if I didn't care about valuing my current life the way that I have because this wasn't a lesson that I learned overnight, it was something that I learned over time, guys I would have missed out on all of this. I would have stayed stuck because I was still identifying with who I was sitting on that bench at the park that I just told you about 10 years ago. My current life, now and then are equally worthy, and I couldn't see it. I couldn't see it and most people can't. But everything is happening now. There's only now. 10 years ago it was the present moment, it was now, and now, 10 years later, it is still now when you can fully receive your current life and you are entering your dream life receiving mode.

Speaker 1:

You stay on the right side of the tracks and now you don't just get what you want. You get what you want in a way where you enjoy the process. It's got ease, it's got flow, it's got joy, happiness, and that's what we want, remember. So, please, please, use this as an opportunity to understand that your current life is really just as worthy as your dream one, and the less you put your dream life on a pedestal, the closer it is to you, because you are not separate from your desires. But you will literally make yourself separate from your desires and your dream life Every moment. You are rejecting the present moment, waiting to savor and enjoy yourself in the future so you can have a big payoff. That is the worst way to get what you want. The worst way and this is what will create FOMO FOMO.

Speaker 1:

Do you want to know how to cure FOMO? Is understanding that what you really want is you experiencing the present moment. You know the fear of missing out. Really, hear me, you think you fear missing out on the experience of this dream life, of this partner, of this amount of money. That's what you think. So you're searching, you feel guilty for enjoying this moment, when you don't realize that the fear of missing out, what that really is about is that you have a fear of missing out on yourself in the present moment. Write this moment, come to this moment with me. Come to this moment, receive this moment. It doesn't matter what circumstances are around. Look, I'm asking you to look, taste your life. Taste your life right now, take it in, receive it. See, that's what you were searching for FOMO gone.

Speaker 1:

If you can remember this and constantly come back by realizing that you're only ever afraid of missing out, not on the money or the experience. You're afraid of missing out on yourself in the present moment. You are always in control and when you are constantly allowing yourself to fully receive all that you can, that's around you, because there's abundance all around you. You just have to choose to look for it. Then you enter a completely different way of achieving goals, of manifesting desires, and you become a portal and a magnet to all that you want. You do it with less action, less force, and you do it with joy and you become, finally. You become someone who doesn't just finish eating their burger. You become someone who enjoyed every bite of that burger and then, when you finish that, you're satisfied as well, because you got sort of nourished and you're satiated. But all of it was magic that the satiation it, the literal digestion of it, was just a bonus, and that is your life.
